About me

I’m originally from England where I competed on one of the most competitive running teams in the country before a serious back injury put my running career on the back-burner. In England I obtained my Bachelors degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham.  In 2004 I immigrated to the United States to be with my husband Shawn. In 2007 I attended Northern Arizona University (NAU) where I achieved a Distinction attached to my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.  During my time at NAU I started participating in triathlons and in my first season achieved USAT all American Honors, and qualified to participate in the World Long Course Championships.  A brief hiatus from triathlon to have my darling daughter Sierra, and then I was back competing at a high level.  In 2014 I was ranked in the top 10 in my AG in the country in the USAT National rankings, and placed 9th in my AG at the World 70.3 Championships.  I am currently racing in the professional category.  I am deeply passionate about running and triathlon; and I love to help people be their own her personal best. The combination of my Sport Science background, Physical Therapy expertise in gait mechanics, and with my personal competitive experiences puts me in a really strong place to coach fellow athletes to run, and race at their very best.
